Wolt is a Finnish tech company known for our food delivery platform, where customers can order from local restaurants and retailers for pickup or delivery. We operate in 30+ countries and now cover about 70% of Iceland’s population. As we continue to grow from our Reykjavík office, we’re looking for someone to support our expansion and onboard new partners.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of around 50-70 local hero restaurant and retail partners. We’re looking for someone who has a true passion for establishing strong win-win relationships and improving key performance metrics to create results for the restaurants, the users and ultimately for Wolt. Your focus will be on making sure your partners thrive on our platform by spotting growth opportunities while providing the tools and support they need to grow.This person will carry significant responsibility for a large portion of Wolt’s revenue in Iceland.

As our new colleague, your primary focus will be:

  • Collaborating to build strong and meaningful relationships with restaurant and retail partners within Iceland.
  • Leading strategic renegotiations of commercial terms with restaurant partners, introducing cutting-edge Wolt products and services to expand partner offerings and increase their revenue. (i.e. Wolt+ and Wolt Drive).
  • Assisting restaurant partners in achieving their goals by providing consultation on improvements, quality checks, and creative strategies. Regularly assessing partner performance, prioritizing actions to maximize impact, and develop their business with the latest trends and strategies using Looker as our BI tool.
  • Getting feedback from our partners and translating it into improvement opportunities for Product, Marketing and Operations teams.
  • Driving revenue growth, utilizing a data-driven approach to propel revenue growth for your restaurant partners and Wolt.
Our humble expectations
  • Relevant Experience: Proven success in Account Management roles, with a strong commercial mindset driving growth and profitability.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is a must. 
  • Leadership Skills: As this role carries a lot of responsibility we are looking for someone who shows clear leadership skills in the office and brings a positive energy to everything they do.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to analyze performance metrics and business data effectively to inform decisions and improve partner relations and business outcomes.
  • Languages Proficiency: English & Icelandic Fluency
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems and knowledge of analytical dashboards - for example, Looker or Power BI, preferred.
