About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Journalist who will focus on content creation and thought leadership for CIO.inc! This role offers a unique opportunity to shape conversations at the intersection of technology and business leadership, delivering key insights and building relationships with senior technology professionals globally.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editorial:

• Produce high-quality, timely content—including articles, interviews, webinars, and features—aligned with ISMG’s editorial standards and calendar.
• Develop and maintain a consistent output of 200–250 stories annually across text and video formats (solo, panels), balancing Indian and international coverage.
• Conduct interviews with senior leaders (CIOs, CTOs, IT Managers, Compliance Officers, CEOs) to deliver actionable insights.
• Support multimedia content creation, including e-newsletters, vendor features, and audio/video content, in collaboration with global editorial teams.

• Build and nurture relationships with senior technology leaders to support content development and engagement.
• Collaborate with social media teams to grow the LinkedIn community and lead LinkedIn Live sessions featuring industry influencers.
• Curate and moderate webinars, including content planning, speaker sourcing, question preparation, and hosting.
• Support large-scale branded events and summits by sourcing speakers, coordinating logistics, and contributing to conference planning and execution.
• Host and facilitate roundtables and advisory board forums with key stakeholders.

• Stay informed on enterprise technology trends, cybersecurity regulations, and related legislation to inform editorial strategy.
• Conduct research to support content creation and presentations, while also contributing to editorial initiatives across ISMG’s verticals.
• Manage external contributors and editorial relationships for the CIO.inc platform.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional journalism or editorial experience, covering enterprise technology, cybersecurity, or other B2B tech domains.
• Proven ability to research, write, and edit high-quality, deadline-driven content across formats (articles, interviews, webinars, newsletters, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience interviewing senior executives (e.g., CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, or CEOs) and translating complex subject matter into actionable insights.
• Experience developing multimedia content, including video panels, webinars, or podcasts, is strongly preferred.
• Background in curating and moderating live or virtual events, such as webinars, roundtables, or LinkedIn Live sessions.
• Track record of building relationships with subject matter experts, industry leaders, and stakeholders across tech ecosystems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity trends, enterprise IT topics, or regulatory issues is highly desirable.  
• Comfortable working across global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, editorially driven environment.
