Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Designer on Jewellery & Sunglasses to join the COS design team on a temporary 12 month contract, you will lead the creative direction of the category, delivering premium, modern accessories that complement the COS womenswear & menswear collection which reflect our brand values of functionality, timelessness, and quality.

This role is part time to work 3 days per week in our London Head Office with some flexibility to work hybrid. We are also happy to consider a freelance contract for this role. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design jewellery and sunglasses collections from concept to completion, aligned with COS’ seasonal vision and customer expectations. 
  • Build a considered and commercial assortment that contributes to a complete, layered wardrobe. 
  • Research trends, materials, and customer insights to inform innovative and sustainable product development. 
  • Ensure your category has a clear identity within the womenswear & menswear assortment, and drive its evolution seasonally. 
  • Work collaboratively with buying, development, and wider design teams to ensure consistency, quality, and timely execution. 
  • Provide high level of awareness and knowledge of current and future trends to enhance design quality of the department.

  • Significant experience designing jewellery and sunglasses, ideally within a premium or luxury brand. 
  • Proficient in product fitting with advanced technical knowledge of jewellery design and construction.
  • Excellent eye for proportion, detail, and finish. 
  • Confident team player and communicator, comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
  • Passion for sustainable design and innovation. 
  • Genuine interest in the COS brand

Please kindly note that in order for us to consider your application, you will need to include a portfolio or examples of your work showcasing jewellery and sunglasses design most suited to the COS aesthetic. 

Additional Information

This is a part time, temporary 12 month contract based at our Head Office in London. Please note applicants must be able to start in December.
