What You Can Expect...- Develop modern software solutions and web applications for the digitalization of justice and public administration
- Support the entire software lifecycle—from conception and development to testing, deployment, and operations
- Contribute your expertise to architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical quality standards
- Continuously improve existing applications and identify opportunities for optimization
- Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and domain experts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
- Support the adoption of modern technologies and best practices within development projects
- At least five years of professional experience as a Java Software Developer or in a comparable role
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Strong expertise in Java-based backend technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, and REST
- Good knowledge of modern web technologies, single-page applications, and web services
- Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of IT security topics, including certificates, encryption, PKI, and electronic signatures
- Experience in the public sector is considered an advantage
- Structured and quality-oriented approach to work combined with strong analytical thinking skills
- Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
