We are looking for a Java Software Architect to drive the architectural vision and technical strategy for Orbit Intelligence, our flagship patent and intellectual property analytics platform. As the main architect, you will play a key role in defining, designing, and optimizing the platform’s architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance.

- Define and lead the architectural vision for Orbit Intelligence, ensuring a scalable, high-performance, and secure platform.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures, API strategies...
- Lead technology selection, framework evaluations, and best practices to align with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, guiding them on best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Drive the modernization of legacy systems while ensuring backward compatibility and seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with Development teams, Product Management and UX teams to align technical solutions with user needs.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.), and software quality assurance.
- Oversee the scalability and high availability of the platform, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and performance improvements.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and implement infrastructure as code.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, continuously improving the platform’s technical foundation.
The perfect match…
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with a strong background in Java (JavaEE, Maven, Spring, etc.).
- Expertise in designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of big data processing, search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr), and data indexing techniques.
- Experience with high-performance API design and large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with DevOps (Gitlab), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Ability to mentor and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a product-first mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in optimizing large-scale data pipelines and parallel computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Flink, etc.).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Java-related technologies.
