Have very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT and Maven,

Are not afraid of challenges related to monitoring production system and incident solving,

Are able to identify problems, analyse key information and propose the best solutions,

Are a team player,

Have min. 5 years of experience on similar position or so.
English level - B2
You'll get extra points for:

Experience in batch file processing solutions,

Kafka, Docker and S3 storage knowledge,

IT Service Management knowledge

Agile and DevOps knowledge,

Code testing skills.
Your responsibilities:
In this role as Java Dev Engineer you will be part of the Paper&Send DevOps team which is responsible for getting all paper communication to ING clients (currently in NL and BE).
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Analysis and development of new features and maintaining existing ones,
-
Assist the Paper&Send squad and related squads in required tasks like collecting logs for investigation, doing checks after changes/patches etc.,
-
Fully contribute to improving the Paper&Send squad’s processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control etc. are adhered to,
-
Attend daily, weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the Paper&Send squad,
-
Contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the teams Scrum ceremonies.
