Job Summary
Will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex, scalable Java-based applications.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
- Participate in architectural planning and design sessions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain thorough documentation of development processes and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and tools in Java and software development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java SE and Java EE.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
