Senior Java Developer

This role is ideal for someone who thrives writing code and developing software systems while also leading and mentoring junior developers in an Agile Squad team

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Design and Development:
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Java applications using Spring Boot. 
  • Implement RESTful & SOAP APIs and microservices. 
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle. 

• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles. ( Java 11 or higher)
  • Experience with Spring Boot framework and its various modules (e.g., Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security). 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge in Elastic Search tools like Kibana
  • Familiarity with database technologies (Oracle & DB2). 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP). 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab & Artifactory). 
  • Experience running Unit Testing

• Mentorship and Leadership:
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. 
  • Perform code reviews and ensure code quality. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Problem Solving and Communication:
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues. 
  • Document technical specifications and user manuals. 
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Document Tech ideas and architectures in Confluence and create diagrams.

• Other Skills:
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito). 
  • Knowledge of software architecture patterns. 
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Banking domain (Commercial preferred)
  • Knowledge of software architecture patterns. 
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
