We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our team. In this role, you will have the joined responsible for leading the development of a complex multi-tenant Java SaaS application that forms an integral part of our larger product suite. You will oversee a team of talented developers, ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality software solutions.

In this role you will:

• Lead a team of developers in the implementation of a complex multi-tenant Java application.
• Oversee code reviews, technical roadmap, and enforce best practices for software development.
• Apply industry standard best practices such as CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Ensure on-time delivery of product increments and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will become successful in this role by bringing these competencies and experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer, preferably with multi-tenant SaaS Java applications.
• Strong expertise in Java, JEE (web- / micro-profile) and related technologies such as JPA, JaxRS, JTA, etc.
• Strong expertise in API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP.
• Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools.
• Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with front end development.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred qualifications for this position would be:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (Oracle Java, JEE, Spring).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technical projects.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• You keep a broad conceptual view in mind, while still being hands-on regarding development.
• You are up to date and curious about new technologies in the field.
