Senior Java Developer (Spring, Microservices, Multithreading)

Software Requirements:

• Java

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications.
• Implement solutions using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure efficient handling of data storage using MongoDB or Amps.
• Develop and maintain multithreaded and concurrent applications.
• Work with microservices architecture to build modular and scalable systems.
• Integrate messaging APIs such as LBM, Aeron, Solace, or Kafka.
• Write and maintain scripts using Shell, Perl, or Groovy for automation and support tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

Technical Skills:

Category-wise:

Java Development:

• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong experience with the Spring framework.

Concurrency and Multithreading:

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing multithreaded and concurrent applications.

Data Storage:

• Experience with MongoDB or Amps for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Architecture:

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture for building scalable systems.

Messaging APIs:

• Experience with one or more messaging APIs such as LBM, Aeron, Solace, or Kafka.

Scripting:

• Proficiency in scripting with Shell, Perl, or Groovy.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Java development.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Design and develop Java applications using Spring and other technologies.
• Implement multithreading and concurrency in applications.
• Manage data storage solutions using MongoDB or Amps.
• Develop and integrate microservices-based architecture.
• Implement and manage messaging systems using APIs like LBM, Aeron, Solace, or Kafka.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Perl, or Groovy.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in various environments.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in Java and related technologies are a plus.
