Senior Java Developer -API Gateway

Responsibilities:
- Lead development teams and software development projects to deliver high quality software on time with expected scope and budget.
- Work with Product Owners and Stakeholders to define technical options and translate business requirements into technical design and execution plans.
- Help to define a vision and technical roadmap for the team with product leadership.
- Take responsibility for architecture, design and quality.
- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.
- Own the team’s software development lifecycle – optimize it, tackle inefficiency and reduce waste.
- Coach and mentor team members.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of Strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
- 5+ years of Strong experience in development of backend applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, MySQL, REST API.
- Strong experience in application configuration and strong knowledge on build and deployment process using CICD pipelines.
- Experience with DevOps tool chains like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, AWS, and SonarQube.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (using JUnit, Mockito)
- Experience in Building a secure & stable platform
- Experience in integrating and working with 3rd party APIs and Modules/Libraries.
- Experience working in agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, FDD)
- Excellent communication skills.
Good to have:
- Hands on experience in developing Micro services.
- Experience in FinTech industries
- Experience in connecting with payment services and systems
- Hands-on handling larger traffic system
- Operational and troubleshooting experiences
Education:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or technical degree.
