We are currently seeking a software Engineer to join our Shared-Service-Component (S2C) team is responsible to further develop and to maintain shared services and common components for Adabas and Natural products. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in Java development for server components and backend systems

Essential Functions :

• Develop and maintain high-performance Java components for the Adabas & Natural product stack like Java libraries, installation and patching tools, Eclipse plugins or authentication modules.

• Ensure the quality and efficiency of code through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and development processes.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor or Master degree in IT or related fields (e.g. Engineering).

• Proven track record of advanced knowledge in Java programming and Linux commands.

• Good knowledge in operating systems Windows and Unix.

• Knowledge in other programming languages are a plus.

• Experience in Source code versioning tool such as GitHub.

• Experience in automation tool such as Jenkins.

• Good communication skills to work with different product development teams.
