Senior Java Backend Developer

ProArch is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based backend systems. Your expertise will help us deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related frameworks.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to support various client applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create effective technical solutions.
• Enhance application performance and reliability through thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to streamline the deployment and integration process.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in backend development and apply best practices accordingly.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8 or higher and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, Angular, CICD pipelines, Security scan tools (Veracode, Mend & Acunetix), Design patterns, Architectural principles, Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
