Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
This role addresses the complex operational challenges of managing a large-scale Android OS Enterprise Mobility infrastructure across multiple business units. The position solves infrastructure bottlenecks by driving end-to-end Workspace ONE MDM/UEM administration, reducing device staging times, and optimizing application delivery for field and warehouse teams. Key focus areas include evaluating performance metrics across 80+ internal applications and modernizing fleet refresh workflows through enterprise-grade automation.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
- Drive the full lifecycle management of the Workspace ONE MDM/UEM platform, including security profile administration, application deployment, and continuous policy optimization across mobile fleets.
- Design, test, and maintain mobility images for field devices to reduce staging times and ensure immediate deployment readiness.
- Evaluate technical performance and resource consumption for over 80 internal mobile applications to optimize CPU, memory, and battery utilization.
- Execute device refresh cycles by coordinating with wireless carriers and device manufacturers, conducting pilot programs, and aligning hardware capabilities with operational requirements.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and custom scripting to streamline administrative tasks and accelerate incident resolution times for support personnel.
Skills, Experience and Requirements

- Extensive technical expertise in enterprise MDM/UEM system administration with emphasis on Android OS infrastructure.
- Practical AI Application skills to automate administrative workflows and build integration tools using languages such as Java or Python.
- Critical experience managing end-to-end hardware lifecycle processes, carrier coordination, and mobile app deployment.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and resolve complex technical bottlenecks.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management capabilities to align technical solutions with business goals.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience evaluating wearable and wireless technologies for field operations.
- History of collaborating directly with third-party app vendors to drive feature requests and bug fixes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of experience as an End User Device system administrator in an enterprise environment.
- Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:
- Workspace ONE or enterprise-grade MDM/UEM platforms
- Android OS infrastructure and image deployment
- Java or Python scripting for process automation

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
