We are on the lookout for a Senior IT Support Specialist!

In this role you will take ownership of the systems and infrastructure that keep a global technology powerhouse running smoothly, ensuring reliability, operational excellence, and business continuity. You will play a central role in how the organization adopts and operates AI internally, driving technology enablement, supporting end users, and contributing to the effective delivery of IT services across the business.

What would be your responsibilities if you join us?

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues, including those impacting multiple departments or business-critical systems.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure across servers, networks, and storage systems.

  • Plan and execute IT projects end-to-end, such as system upgrades, network expansions, and enterprise software deployments.

  • Monitor systems and performance metrics, recommending improvements and optimizations.

  • Oversee IT security measures, protecting the organization against internal and external threats.

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulations, including data protection and security requirements.

  • Own backup, system imaging, and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring alignment with business continuity goals.

  • Collaborate with senior management to shape and implement IT strategies that support business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and system configurations, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

  • Coach and train IT staff and colleagues to strengthen their technical skills.

  • AI operations and internal tooling:
  • Administer and configure the company's enterprise AI tools and licenses, managing provisioning, access, and account lifecycle across the organization.

  • Monitor company-wide AI usage, adoption, and spend, producing regular reporting and surfacing insights for leadership.

  • Design, build, and maintain internal tooling and automations that streamline IT and operational workflows.

  • Develop AI-powered workflows that improve productivity across teams, from prototyping to rollout.

  • Establish and enforce AI governance, ensuring usage aligns with security, data protection, and responsible AI standards.

  • Support and enable employees on AI tools, including onboarding, best practices, and tracking completion of mandatory AI training.

There are some requirements that will make you stand out:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a comparable role, with a track record of resolving complex issues independently.

  • Deep, hands-on expertise troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.

  • Strong background in network and system administration, including virtualization and storage lifecycle management.

  • Practical experience with backups, system imaging, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Solid grounding in IT security practices and in regulatory and compliance standards for IT systems.

  • Proven IT project management experience, ideally across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS or AI platforms, including user management and usage reporting.

  • Familiarity with AI assistants and large language model tools, along with practical scripting and automation skills (for example Python) for building internal tooling and workflows.

  • Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and responsible AI principles.

  • Relevant certifications (such as ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or security credentials) are a strong plus.
