IT Support Specialist - Job Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of our remote helpdesk, actively diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner and with extremely high level of customer support, documenting bugs, and generating reports as needed
- Provide essential desktop maintenance and support, encompassing procurement of and provisioning of hardware, software troubleshooting, and administration
- Develop a strong understanding of our fast-moving business, prioritizing helpdesk assistance based on Return on Investment (ROI)
- Utilize creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex IT issues
- Contribute to custom software quality assurance by participating in test planning and execution
- Build positive relationships with team members and foster a collaborative work environment
- Consistently deliver high-quality output, ensuring all technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Computer Science or software engineering preferred, not required
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in a IT support role or similar, with experience in Microsoft enterprise products, desktop maintenance, and troubleshooting
- 4-5 Years experience for "Senior" Specialist
- A strong background in IT support with experience in Microsoft enterprise products, desktop maintenance, and troubleshooting
- In-depth knowledge of Office 365 administration and Outlook troubleshooting
- Strong interpersonal and English verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work remotely and during off-hours as necessary
- Excellent time management skills and unwavering commitment
Preferred Qualifications (A+):
- Experience with AWS administration
- Knowledge of network and desktop security administration
- Ability to write SQL for reporting and business intelligence (not required but a plus)
- Familiarity with custom software quality assurance, test planning, and execution
