Position Description
The primary responsibility of the Senior IT Support Analyst is to provide assistance, guidance and support to the internal end user environment with regards their daily business operation.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Provide hands on infrastructure, PC & end user support.
L1/L2 end user coverage for standard desktop/user applications, desktop/mobile hardware troubleshooting and break fix, Zoom video conference support, user on/off-boarding arrangement, IP phone support, etc.
Provide support for all business units in Philippines
Assisting IT Manager with daily IT operations (backup tape management, patch deployments, AV updates, start of day checks.)
Install, support & troubleshoot Microsoft Operating systems and products
1st Level support of internally developed and vendor provided business applications. Bloomberg/IRESS, Internal trading applications/CRM Tools.
Software & hardware Inventory management.
Collaborate with global IT teams on project implementations tasks such as testing, upgrade, migration and movements.
Ensure security and compliance in the end user computing space
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology discipline.
More than 4 years of IT experience with in financial services and familiarity with Investment banking like Trading.
Knowledge of IT platforms and system support in relevant areas across mobile and workspace, Windows desktop, network connectivity, voice technologies and datacenter management is desirable.
Knowledge of trading technologies and market data platforms used in the local market environment is desirable (Bloomberg/IRESS/Thomson Reuters).
A strong end user focus and can do attitude.
Great communication and strong interpersonal skills.
The flexibility to deal with conflicting and ever changing priorities.
Working under pressure.
Experience in providing face to face and remote Support for internal/external applications.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Analytically minded, logical problem solver who is able to think outside the square.
Able to work autonomously as well as part of a small team.
