OverviewThe Senior IT Specialist Analyst – Epic Cadence & Referrals is responsible for the day-to-day support, optimization, and enhancement of Epic access and scheduling applications, with a primary focus on Epic Cadence and Referrals/Authorizations. This role partners closely with operational, clinical, and physician practice stakeholders to analyze workflows, implement system improvements, and maximize the effectiveness of Epic applications that support patient access, scheduling, referral management, and revenue cycle processes.
The analyst will lead and support application builds, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives while evaluating software releases and recommending solutions that improve scheduling efficiency, referral processing, patient access, and operational outcomes. This role requires strong expertise in Epic Cadence workflows, referral management, and related scheduling applications.
Bachelor’s Degree (preferreed)

7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- Epic Cadence Certification required
- Epic Referrals/Authorizations Certification required
- Epic prelude and RTE preferred
- Strong experience supporting Epic Cadence and Referrals/Authorizations, including build, optimization, workflow configuration, and troubleshooting.

- eMPA (required)
- Guided Scheduling (required)
- Follow-Up Orders (required)
- Visit Types, including telehealth scheduling workflows (Required)

Experience with application support, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements in a healthcare environment
Proven ability to perform workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder collaboration
Experience supporting patient access, scheduling, referral, and authorization workflows.
Knowledge of Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) functionality preferred.
Experience managing incident, problem, and change management processes
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$91,416.00-$152,380.80. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
