Senior IT Specialist

This role is onsite 5 days a week in LOCATION

About the Role

As a warehouse IT specialist, you will be accountable for helping us design, deploy, implement,
and maintain warehouse networks, security camera systems, badge systems, alarm systems,
printers, desktops and laptops, and IT assets. A successful candidate should have some
experience in IT project coordination, a solid technical background, and good organizational and
analytical abilities.  This position is 80% Networking and 20% System Admin.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Tier 2 IT support for warehouse operations, including network,
  laptop/desktop/server, warehouse badge/alarm system, barcode & Wi-Fi printer,
  scanner, touch screen, PDA, UPS, other IT-related equipment.
• Manage IT equipment inventory, IT assets, and in-house Warehouse Management
  System (WMS) user access privileges.
• Inspect, audit, maintain, and repair/replace all IT equipment in good working condition.
• Design, document, deploy, install, maintain, and support IT infrastructure, including
  WAN/LAN networks, Access Points, MDF/IDF, video conferences, SAN, NAS,
  surveillance systems, security cameras, and warehouse system-related IT servers,
  storage, and applications.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Create and design complex floor plans and elevation diagrams for building, MDF/IDF
  and IT Infrastructure.
• Create complex project plans for IT Infrastructure and buildouts.
• Create standardized IT Warehouse processes and operational procedures.
• Write SOP user manual documents and provide IT training to end users.
• Participate in local implementation of HQ projects as needed.
• Other projects or tasks assigned by the warehouse Operations Manager/Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in IT and networking
• Excellent network skills, such as managing IT server rooms and network switches/firewalls.
• Excellent computer troubleshooting skills (windows 10, Mac OS).
• Possess exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Implement and maintain security camera system & badge system.
• Nimble and patient with good communication skills.
• Warehouse-related IT support experience is preferred.
• CCNA or CCNP

Work Schedule
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
On-Call: Monday - Friday, 5 PM - 9 AM Saturday - Sunday, 9 AM - 9 AM

Compensation Range

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,000 - $90,000
• This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
