Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our Software Solution department. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced Windows troubleshooting, support our software and cloud platform, and have a strong understanding of IT security. This role requires effective communication with both customers and developers, including composing JIRA tickets that developers can easily understand.
Essential Functions

  • Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for our software and cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Compose clear and detailed JIRA tickets for developers.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems and data, adhering to best practices and company policies.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and support of HL7 standards.
  • Utilize REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. preferred
  • 10+ years Advanced experience working with Hospital IT or equally complex systems. preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in HL7 and IT security best practices.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and supporting software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar issue-tracking software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and ticket management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Understanding of IT security tools and protocols.
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger.
