Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our Software Solution department. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced Windows troubleshooting, support our software and cloud platform, and have a strong understanding of IT security. This role requires effective communication with both customers and developers, including composing JIRA tickets that developers can easily understand.
Essential Functions
- Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for our software and cloud platform.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
- Compose clear and detailed JIRA tickets for developers.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data, adhering to best practices and company policies.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and support of HL7 standards.
- Utilize REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. preferred
- 10+ years Advanced experience working with Hospital IT or equally complex systems. preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in HL7 and IT security best practices.
- Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud platforms and supporting software applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with JIRA or similar issue-tracking software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and ticket management.
