The Planet Technologies West Region is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager, to help the team scale for keeping up with rapid growth of the Microsoft Cloud practice. The selected individual will be analytical, have a demonstrated track record of effective project execution, and be excited to tackle one of the fastest growing markets. Our business requires dynamic and flexible team members with the confidence to pivot quickly to provide outstanding customer service. The Senior IT Project Manager resource should have relevant IT project management experience, the ability to build meaningful client relationships, be flexible, detail-oriented, friendly, and have the ability to calmly juggle multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Own a critical piece of the customer experience and support the logistics to execute multiple technical projects concurrently and our support operations.
- Partner with other members of our team to deliver cutting-edge solutions that solve business challenges for our customers.
- Work with a variety of different customers each day making sure communications are flowing and expectations are understood.
- Master our project management processes and tools to provide a consistent experience, deliver projects on-time, and within budget.
- Identify opportunities to improve the speed, quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience of those processes.
- Provide top-notch service on projects from start to finish, including creating budgets to implementing timelines, aligning stakeholders, testing ideas, executing, and measuring results.

Skills Required
- Requires demonstrable experience managing IT projects. Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies strongly preferred.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for successful service delivery and contract execution for an Office 365 implementation (email, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint online migrations), Modern Endpoint Management and Organizational Change Management, Security and Compliance (AIP, DLP, MCAS) SOWs for various customers.
- Leading a diverse IT project team comprised of engineers with expertise in different subject matter areas, architects, cloud strategists, and project managers from initiation to production implementation, tracking project details to ensure expected results are achieved.
- Creating, managing, and controlling project schedules and all required activities to ensure alignment with multiple schedules and requirements across all workstreams.
- Performing project risk management.
- Develop project documentation such as Project Plan, implementation plans with milestones, weekly status reports, agendas, and meeting minutes paying attention to detail.
- Maintain and manage Program Level budgets for various workstreams and across multiple SOWs for a single customer.
- Regularly meet with internal and external stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements to discuss ongoing work, discuss opportunities and address any challenges.
- Prepare and present information related to project progress, vision, roadmap, status reports, and other topics to senior levels of leadership, taking into account the listeners and nature of the information being presented.
- Review customer invoices and assist the accounting department as needed with related questions.
Credentials and Experience
- 5-7 years of project management experience preferably in IT
- Professional Project Management Certification preferred
- Mountain or Pacific Time Zone
- Travel: 0 - 25%
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
