Lyra Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager with a focus on Telecommunications and VoIP to join the team for one of our operating companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing telecommunications and VoIP projects from initiation through to completion. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

Your work as a Senior IT Project Manager will includes several components:
• Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of telecommunications and VoIP projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external teams, including network engineers, vendors, and IT specialists, ensuring collaboration and smooth workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resources to stay within financial constraints while meeting project milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of issues to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure the procurement and timely delivery of required materials, software, and hardware.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure that VoIP and telecommunications solutions are implemented effectively, meeting industry standards and client specifications.
• Monitor the progress of the project and ensure that quality standards are met, preparing regular status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee post-implementation support to ensure smooth transition to the operational phase and address any issues that arise after project completion.
Our ideal Senior IT Project Manager has the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing telecommunications, VoIP, or IT infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale telecommunications and VoIP projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or similar certifications
- ITIL certification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks, VoIP systems, and associated hardware/software.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana).
