About the Role
At Essity we are going through our Digital transformation based on S4HANA and other SAP products. We have a Global template which has been piloted and we are now rolling it out to countries across the world. In this exciting journey we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who could work in a team and contribute towards our program and roll-out projects.
As an IT Senior Project Manager - SAP, you will be part of the central Project Delivery team and you play a pivotal role in the successful roll-out of our Global template across geographies. You will manage IT projects of advanced complexity or multiple projects simultaneously. Lead large projects often including cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, expertly managing project scope, resources, budget, risks, and timelines to ensure successful delivery that is in strong alignment with strategic objectives and business requirements. This role demonstrates deep expertise in utilizing multi-method delivery models and standardized processes and methodologies and could lead or mentor small team of IT Project Managers or IT Project Leaders.

What You Will Do
Project Management: Lead SAP-related IT projects of advanced complexity or multiple streams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery.
Methodology & Execution: Apply agile and hybrid project management methodologies to drive effective execution, manage scope, timelines, budget, and change processes.
Team Leadership: Coordinate large, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, mentoring junior project managers and fostering collaboration across departments.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement: Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including third-party vendors, ensuring contractual compliance and smooth communication.
Risk & Resource Management: Identify and mitigate risks, forecast needs, and allocate resources efficiently across the project lifecycle.
Governance & Reporting: Oversee project documentation, status reporting, and quality tracking to ensure deliverables meet defined objectives and KPIs.
Who You Are
Minimum 5 years of proven leadership managing advanced complexity or multiple projects simultaneously
Extensive experience in project management methodologies & tools and ability to adapt and improvise. Preferably experience in SAP Activate methodology
High proficiency in developing, tracking and reporting project plans and schedules across levels of granularity for large complexity projects
Expert at proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies at project level
Highly skilled at complex stakeholder management, managing cross-functional teams and building relationship with influential stakeholders
Proficient in executing project-level change processes
Excellent at forecasting and resource allocation of high complexity projects
Demonstrated ability to lead/manage vendor/third-party contracts
Highly experienced in managing project budget/costs, financial forecasting for high complexity projects
