About the Role:Operates within the Value Management Office (VMO) Delivery Project & Program Management organization and is accountable for the disciplined execution and value realization of strategic IT initiatives.
This role supports complex, cross-functional technology projects from initiation through stabilization, ensuring delivery against defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, compliance, and most importantly: measurable business outcomes. This role partners closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure initiatives are governed effectively, executed predictably, and aligned to enterprise strategies and goals.
This position is execution/delivery-focused and outcome/value-driven, emphasizing governance rigor, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and transparent reporting to deliver sustained business value.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex IT initiatives with clear accountability for delivering business value and outcomes

  • Translate strategic objectives into executable project plans with defined value hypotheses and success metrics

  • Ensure adherence to VMO governance standards, stage gates, and reporting requirements

  • Drive predictable value delivery through disciplined task, risk, issue, dependency, and scope management

  • Maintain transparency through consistent portfolio and steering committee reporting

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to align initiative delivery with platform roadmaps and long-term technology evolution

  • Ensure regulatory, validation, and compliance requirements are embedded into project execution (particularly in Clinical and Regulatory systems environments)

  • Track and report measurable value realization post-implementation

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in computer science, IT, or similar field and 4+ years of IT experience working in a pharmaceutical company with exposure to FDA regulations. Experience supporting validated applications for regulatory purposes in a biotech/pharmaceutical company required. OR

  • Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or similar field and 2+ years of similar experience noted above

  • PMP certification or working towards a certification is highly desired

  • Able to communicate technical information and work with all levels within the organization

  • Strong base knowledge of web application technology, electronic document management systems, electronic publishing systems for regulatory filings, and an in-depth experience in database technologies and data warehousing/data mining

  • Strong knowledge of the most recent experience in support of Microsoft applications utilizing the following technologies: MS SQL Server, Oracle, JAVA, Visual Basic, MS Access, MS Project, IIS, Internet Explorer, and Advanced Web technologies such as HTML, XML, SGML, Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, and Internet Database Programming

  • Strong knowledge of supporting validated applications for regulatory purposes in a biotech/pharmaceutical company required

  • Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work

  • Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas

  • Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Possess excellent computer skills

  • Has strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Is detail oriented yet can see broader picture for department

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Has strong project management skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $103,300.00-$141,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
