We are seeking a highly experienced and technically adept Senior IT Project Manager to lead a strategic data initiative in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, and implementation of a data lake and associated interfaces, coordinating across IT, data engineering, and business teams to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management of a technical data lake and interface development initiative.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data architects, developers, business analysts, and QA specialists.
• Ensure the project adheres to GxP, data governance, and pharma compliance standards.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and drive mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Prepare and present status reports and documentation to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3+ years in data-related projects (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, data integration).
• Proven experience delivering technical projects in regulated industries, preferably pharmaceuticals.
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lake architecture.
• Experience working with interface technologies, APIs, and system integration.
• Familiarity with data security, compliance, and governance frameworks (especially in the life sciences sector).
• Solid background in agile, waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills/Certifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe).
• Experience with data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation)
