Job Duties and Responsibilities
This role manages both the strategic direction and tactical execution of a product, primarily functioning as a Product Owner or Product Manager. The core duties include defining and maintaining a strategic roadmap aligned with overall business goals and continuously prioritizing the development backlog (features, bugs, technical debt) to ensure the team is always working on the highest-value items. They act as the central liaison between customers, stakeholders, and the Development Team, translating high-level needs into detailed user stories and facilitating all key Scrum ceremonies, including daily progress management, sprint planning, and reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a strategic roadmap that outlines the major milestones, features, and releases over time, ensuring it aligns with the overall business strategy
- Continuously rank and re-rank backlog items (features, bugs, technical debt, and knowledge acquisition) based on business value, risk, dependencies, and urgency to ensure the team is always working on the most valuable items first
- Act as the primary link between customers/users, stakeholders, and the Development Team, channeling customer needs and motivations into the product
- Translate high-level strategic items into detailed, actionable User Stories
- Conduct Scrum and manage daily progress of the design/development/testing of these user stories
- Work closely with other teams to ensure a cohesive and successful product experience from design to launch
- Conduct Sprint planning and review for the deliverables
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
- 5+ years of experience working as as a product owner
- Experience in Agile Methodology
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate to team and stakeholders
- Expertise in developing and maintaining a strategic product roadmap, including defining milestones, features, and releases, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Deep practical knowledge of Scrum methodology, including facilitating and managing ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Exceptional ability to translate high-level strategic concepts and stakeholder needs into detailed, actionable User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with design, development, and testing teams to ensure a cohesive and successful product experience from concept to launch
- Problem solving skills

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
