Senior IT Network Administrator (TraceLink, Inc. – Wilmington, MA):
Drive successful global technology initiatives to meet the evolving demands of a fast paced, dynamically growing and compliance-based industry. Specific duties include:
- Design, configure, install, patch, monitor, upgrade and maintain production Cisco
switches with strong knowledge of IOS command line and switch protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, STP, VLANs, trunking, MPLS, subnetting, IP access lists, VOIP, QOS, and Port Security. - Design, configure, install, patch, monitor, upgrade and maintain production Palo Alto firewall physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Perform and create configuration templates, patching and upgrades through Panorama centralized management.
- Design, configure, install, patch, monitor, upgrade and maintain production Enterprise wireless networks. Manage 802.1x authentication with Radius.
- Build, configure and maintain custom Zabbix & Grafana open source monitoring
services for resource utilization, trending, capacity planning and service availability. - Create and maintain cloud network infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform.
- Perform regular analysis using WLAN analyzer software.
- Generate and read packet captures with Wireshark.
- Install and configure network automation, monitoring, configuration management and detection tools.
- Manage, install and upgrade ISP and telco circuits for all global offices.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience working in a technical network administration role. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
- 2 years of experience utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Zabbix, Grafana and CLI.
- 2 years of experience utilizing networking monitoring and automation tools.
- 2 years of experience with network architecture methodologies, standards, and tools.
- 2 years of experience with wireless radio frequencies/spectrum analysis.
- 2 years of experience with routing technologies including VPN, IPsec tunneling, BGP, OSPF, IDS/IPS, URL filtering and QOS.
- 2 years of experience performing regular analysis using WLAN analyzer software and Wireshark with ability to read packet capture.
- 1 year of experience with infrastructure as code for AWS cloud networking.
