Senior Manager, Enterprise Analytics & Data PlatformsThe Senior Manager, Enterprise Analytics & Data Platforms leads teams responsible for enterprise analytics, reporting, and data platform capabilities that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
This role requires a strong balance of leadership, business partnership, and technical acumen. The leader will manage managers and technical teams while driving strategy, delivery, modernization, and operational excellence across analytics, data engineering, reporting, and AI-enabled capabilities.
The leader will partner with business and technology business customers to improve data accessibility, strengthen governance, and position data as a strategic asset.
Location: Hybrid role based in Newport News, VA (3 days in office / 2 days remote). Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and develop managers and technical teams across analytics, reporting, and data platform functions.
- Set clear priorities, goals, and performance expectations aligned to business outcomes.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with business and technology leaders.
- Lead delivery and support of enterprise analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and data platform solutions.
- Drive analytics roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and scalable platform capabilities.
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, well-governed, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Establish best practices for data management, analytics delivery, reporting, and operational support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, enterprise data platforms, or related technology disciplines.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing managers, technical teams, or cross-functional organizations.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale analytics, reporting, and data platform solutions.
- Ability to build strong business partnerships, influence stakeholders, and lead sophisticated initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Solid experience with Databricks, including data engineering, analytics, orchestration, and platform management.
- Experience with Microsoft analytics and data technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Power BI, Synapse Analytics, and Azure AI services.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, semantic modeling, and modern analytics architectures.
- Experience with enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, compliance, and master data management practices.
- Experience leading enterprise analytics and data modernization initiatives.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or Generative AI solutions.
- Experience developing managers and high-performing technical teams.
- Experience driving adoption of self-service analytics and data-driven decision making.
- Experience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, and platform investments.

Pay Range:

$9,458.97 - $16,551.03-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
