Join our Digital Governance Office in a highly visible role that sits at the center of our digital transformation. As a Senior IT Governance Specialist, you’ll help bring structure, clarity, and consistency to how we deliver technology initiatives—ensuring they are compliant, well-managed, and positioned for success.
In this role, you will operationalize governance processes, enable effective decision-making, and provide critical insight into delivery health, risk, and compliance. You will partner across Digital, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Risk Management, and business teams to ensure governance practices are practical, efficient, and aligned to business outcomes—not just process for process’ sake.
This is an individual contributor role with high exposure, offering the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide transformation while building strong cross-functional relationships.
What You’ll Do- Execute and continuously improve digital governance workflows, stage gates, and operating rhythms across key initiatives
- Partner with program and project teams to ensure governance requirements are understood, actionable, and efficiently applied
- Support delivery assurance reviews by gathering insights, assessing readiness, and tracking follow-ups
- Maintain governance artifacts, documentation, templates, and process standards to ensure consistency and audit readiness
- Monitor, track, and report on risks, issues, exceptions, and remediation activities across the digital portfolio
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Risk, and Audit teams to support compliance efforts and control requirements
- Build and deliver governance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting to provide leadership visibility into delivery health and risk posture
- Prepare materials for governance forums, leadership updates, and decision-making sessions
- Identify trends and gaps in governance, delivery, or compliance and recommend practical, scalable improvements
- Support the evolution of governance processes through automation, tools, and improved workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in IT governance, delivery assurance, digital risk, compliance, audit coordination, or related disciplines
- Experience supporting complex technology or business initiatives in a matrixed environment
- Familiarity with project lifecycle controls, governance frameworks, and stage gate processes
- Strong experience managing governance artifacts, documentation, and audit evidence
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Experience with risk tracking, issue management, and status reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate governance concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to influence without authority and build strong working relationships across teams
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Clarity, Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms

- Exposure to audit readiness, control testing, and remediation tracking processes

- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, ITIL, Risk, Audit, or Governance-related certifications)
- Experience developing reporting, dashboards, and executive-level materials
