As part of our ongoing commitment to security and business excellence, we are seeking a visionary Senior Director, Regional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our technology leadership team.

The Opportunity:

As the Senior IT Director & Regional CISO, you will own and lead the information security program for the Americas, protecting GEODIS’ critical digital assets, applications, and systems while acting as a key enabler for business transformation and growth. You will partner with regional and global leadership to develop and implement secure processes, mitigate cyber threats, and embed a culture of cybersecurity throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do:

Cybersecurity Leadership & Strategy

  • Architect and execute a comprehensive, forward-looking information security strategy for the Americas region, aligned with global objectives and business outcomes.
  • Design, implement, and refine security policies, standards, and control frameworks across all branches and business units.
  • Build and drive a dynamic cybersecurity program that enables innovation and operational excellence while minimizing risk.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Lead the enterprise-wide cyber risk management process, including continuous assessment and mitigation of technology and business risks.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with international security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.) and proactively address emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits, translating technical risk into actionable business insights for leadership.

Operational Excellence & Incident Response

  • Direct global Security Operations Centers (SOC) activities, vulnerability management, and incident response operations.
  • Implement disaster recovery protocols and business continuity plans focused on resilience and rapid recovery.
  • Oversee threat intelligence, monitoring, and response capabilities to protect against evolving threats.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, globally distributed team of security professionals and managers.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the security function.
  • Invest in talent development and succession planning to ensure future-ready cybersecurity capabilities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the regional executive team, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into business-oriented decisions.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable reports and briefings for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and deliver engaging security awareness and education programs for all employees.

Vendor & Supply Chain Security

  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity requirements for third-party vendors, partners, and service providers.
  • Assess and enhance the security posture of the global supply chain, ensuring end-to-end resilience.

What You Bring:

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc.) are a plus.

Experience & Expertise

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, IT, or risk management, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior global leadership role.
  • Proven track record of designing and leading enterprise security programs in complex, multinational environments.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, regulatory compliance, and incident response.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and executive presence.
