About this opportunity
Working in the Information Systems department, and more specifically in the "Data" division, the senior data engineer will be to provide data management solutions to support the Group's rapid growth.
Job responsibilities:
- Data collection and processing
- Gather the needs of the Group's various departments, in terms of analysis and data, and identify the necessary sources of information
- Ensure a scalable architecture to meet the group's rapid growth, supporting the addition of new topics or new solutions
- Implement technical solutions for collection, transformation, storage and display, in line with the defined architecture
- Set up automated processing, and ensure proper monitoring and operation of these processes
- Data quality and governance
- Participate in defining and implementing the Group's data management strategy
- Promote this strategy to our internal customers
- Define the development platforms and tools to support this strategy
- Manage data lifecycle in accordance with defined policies
- Industrialize and automate data cleansing
- Support Key Users in using the data provided
- Implement and monitor safety rules for data exposure
- Daily run
- Support and manage external service providers who may work with us
- Maintain the Group's data environment in operational condition: ETL, Datalake, MDM, etc.
- Technology watch
- Writing specifications for expressions of need
- Present the status of ongoing actions to the IT team, users or the Data Management Committee.
Qualification requirements:
- 5 years' higher education specializing in data management
- Significant experience of 8 years or more in a Data Engineer position (setting up workflows, managing repositories, managing data infrastructure, etc.)
- English fluent
- SQL skills
- Knowledge of Snowflake and Talend Cloud required
- Knowledge of a Dataviz solution is required
- Be proactive, inquisitive and a source of new ideas
- Present and explain a technical architecture proposal to internal customers

- Strong expertise in Data Management platform and processes
- Very good document writing skills: technical, specifications, etc
- Ability to work in a multicultural context, and in liaison with all levels of the Group hierarchy (Operational to CxO)
- Occasional travel, mainly in Europe and the US (max: 1 trip per quarter)
