Position: Senior IT Consultant – Record to Report & Business Intelligence
Location: India
Reporting Line: Director (Core Business Platforms) / Senior Director IT (interim)
- End-to-end IT process ownership for Record to Report (R2R) and Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), including process design, system integration, and continuous improvement
- Consulting and collaboration with the Stakeholders (Business Owners and Process Owners) for both End-to-end processes and to gather, analyze, and implement future requirements in SAP ECC and DWH / BI systems
- Implementation and configuration of SAP FI/CO and BI solutions (e.g., SAP BW, Power BI, etc.)
- Coordination of projects for digitalization and automation of financial and reporting processes
- Ensuring data quality and governance in relevant systems
- IT ownership for audits and compliance topics, especially in the area of SOX and IT controls
- Training and enablement of business departments for optimal system usage
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including global functions and external service providers
Education & Experience
- Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification
- 5-10 years of experience in supporting and developing SAP FI/CO and BI systems
Candidate Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge in finance, controlling, and reporting
- Experience with SOX compliance and IT audit processes is a plus
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong communication skills and high service orientation
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
