What you will be doing

You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work under the authority of CXG CTO and report to our Product Manager.

The Senior IT Business Analyst communicates with the business users of all the systems to understand their needs. Those users produce 'requirements' which clearly state the business needs and aligns with business processes. These requirements are used by the IT team or an external supplier to build or modify the system. While the system is being built, the senior IT Business Analyst deals with issues and questions, in addition to supporting the business in implementing the required changes to make effective use of the new or existing system. The senior IT Business analyst also leads the team of BAs and supporting their daily work. 

 Here, passion, integrity and a “can-do” attitude are always top of mind. Your daily tasks will involve:

  • Define scope and manage requirements for gathering process for larger initiatives as needed, including business workshop facilitation and roadmap development. This will involve working with business stakeholders, product manager and project manager to manage the development backlog and timelines.
  • Engage with colleagues across various departments to identify system integration points and dependencies, in addition to developing high level solution proposals for these integrations. This includes identifying and scoping master data, reporting, access, and provisioning requirements.
  • Define and document requirements to the highest standard, including business architecture diagrams, use case definitions and as-is/to-be process and flow charts definitions.
  • Act as team leader for BAs team, oversee their work, set priorities and review their day-to-day activities on projects.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and the Product Liaison to the Tech/Dev and QA teams.
  • Oversee the testing and quality assurance of applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and usability standards.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and issues promptly.
  • Provide training and support to systems support specialist and/or end users, addressing questions and issues related to business applications.
  • Work within agile style reporting projects under direction of the Product Manager.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders, subject matter experts, executives, and other internal groups through effective written and verbal communication.
  • Manage change: working side by side with Product Manager to implement new ideas effectively within the company strategy, influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelor in business computing or MIS / Computer Science + MBA / Software Engineering + MBAs
  • Minimum of 5 years in an IT related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in Business Analysis
  • Experience in Agile (SCRUM) project methodology
  • Experience in project management / tracking tools (Jira, TFS, MS Projects …etc.)
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with development tools and REST APIs.

  • Team player but with ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and mastering of the English language (written / spoken)

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Computing, MIS, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (MBA an advantage)
  • Minimum of 5 years in an IT-related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in Business Analysis
  • Experience in Agile (SCRUM) project methodology
  • Experience with project management/tracking tools (Jira, TFS, MS Projects)
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with development tools and REST APIs
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Resource and team management experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively (team player with initiative)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
