The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior IT Business Analyst to join our Digital Customer Applications team supporting customer-facing digital platforms—including public websites, portals, and self-service tools. This role translates business needs into technology solutions that enhance customer experience, drive engagement, and support strategic growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis activities including gathering requirements, documenting user stories, creating process maps, and developing functional specifications.
Collaborate with product owners, UX, and development teams to optimize customer journeys and ensure requirements are realized throughout Agile delivery.
Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify improvement opportunities across Xylem.com, eCommerce, and customer portals.
Drive architectural and strategic alignment by working within IT processes, maintaining roadmaps, and supporting business case development.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards while conducting in-depth data analysis that provides actionable insights for decision-making.
Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, applying Lean problem-solving tools, strong organizational capabilities, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in business analysis with demonstrated success in digital or technology-driven environments.
Expert analytical skills with experience in business analysis methodologies, process mapping, and data modeling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CMS platforms, preferably Optimizely, and proficiency with Jira and other task management tools.
Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Tableau.
Familiarity with BRM principles, Agile methodologies, and professional certifications such as IIBA or PMI BA.
