POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
Research, analyze, and design solutions through deep functional knowledge of business processes to deliver value to end-users of the Oracle E-Business Suite and other non-Oracle applications. Offer functional depth and expertise to technical solutions. Partner with IT and business process experts to articulate business requirements and ensure applications meet business needs. Provide technical and functional mentoring to junior team members, including feedback and review of proposed solutions to ensure functional viability for customers. Design and coordinate robust testing plans for solutions with business process experts and IT employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, or related field OR commensurate experience
- Five plus years’ experience in Information Technology or related experience
- Experience participating and leading in a team environment
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business requirements and technical range to deliver value to customers
- Demonstrated consistent excellence in applying business functional knowledge across multiple projects and/or organizations
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Applications or similar ERP platform
- *Ability to be on-call to support a manufacturing environment that operates 24 X 7* (If applicable)
- Capability to travel, primarily between Charter locations, if applicable
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Functional or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Oracle E-Business Suite certifications.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Participate on and lead teams of IT and business process experts to enhance business processes through the delivery of technology and driving continuous improvement, primarily within the Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Explain relevant process elements, issues, and trends to foster a greater understanding among internal and external colleagues and constituents.
- Apply deep business functional knowledge to ABC (division), to analyze processes, refine functional business requirements, build strong business cases and ROIs, and design value-add technology and process solutions.
- Communicate and document requirements, solutions, and project status to business process experts, IT personnel, and key business stakeholders, according to internal process standards
- Communicate technical solutions and challenges to non-technical professionals
- Lead unit testing, setups, configurations, and the delivery of solutions
- Consult with business process experts on solution testing approaches and methodologies
- Research and recommend solutions to support end-users in day-to-day application use
- Leverage knowledge base in functional area, Oracle e-Business Suite, and related applications to teach and grow junior team members, providing functional and technical leadership
- Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
