A Day in the LifeAWe are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Business Analyst to be involved with requirements definition and implementation phases of a small/medium-scale Pricing/CPQ initiative (e.g., Vendavo /PRO) integrated with SAP SD. In this role, you'll manage the project or change request lifecycle, aligning strategic pricing objectives with technical delivery to enhance scalability, efficiency, and complianceOur ideal candidate is someone who has 4+ years of relevant experience working with Pricing / CPQ systems (e.g. Vendavo/PRO) in the role of technologist, IT business analyst, or developer.
The ideal candidate will bring proven knowledge—or at minimum some hands on exposure—in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA. You should be comfortable evaluating, diagnosing, and designing pricing conditions and rebate mechanisms within the SAP SD module
This business analyst is technically oriented. They will have skills to run queries, lookup data in databases, and analyze and recommend approaches to best load pricing and sales order details into SAP by creating functional specifications and making written recommendations to the development team on possible configuration specifications.
This person will be adept at testing systems and utilizing technical change management and release management practices to effect changes in systems.
Candidates who have experience connecting SAP to other pricing platforms, such as Vendavo or PROS, are preferred.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Engages with business leaders to understand how strategies and data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value.
- Work with data sets to define use cases to improve products, processes and/or services.
- Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
- Drives business agenda during solution delivery process.
Functional Skills:
- Ability to analyze data and trends to develop recommendations to solve business problems.
- Knowledge of pricing, pricing rules, contracting concepts, rebates and related.
- Additional Skills: Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication
Technology:
- Understanding of systems, software and technological concepts, Familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies.
- Working experience with Pricing /CPQ System and understanding with SAP system.
