We’re looking for a hands-on Senior IT Administrator to own and scale our internal IT operations, tools, devices, user management, and automation across Vay.
This will be in a critical role working across almost every department at Vay, and supporting the entire organization by owning and evolving our internal IT systems and tools. From managing Google Workspace and Atlassian products to troubleshooting daily issues, you’ll be the go-to person for everything IT. You'll have the autonomy to make improvements, automate processes, and scale infrastructure as we grow, while ensuring our internal systems run like clockwork.
What you'll be driving- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware for seamless functionality company-wide
- Manage internal network services and a suite of technology tools
- Set up and manage user accounts; especially in Google Workspace and Atlassian products
- Automate internal IT processes to drive efficiency and minimize manual work
- Support helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of desktop, application, and equipment issues
- Maintain and evolve internal IT documentation and policies to keep them accessible and crystal clear
- Several years of experience in a similar IT administration, support or helpdesk position
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, or similar IT administration systems
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS administration
- Great communication skills
- Troubleshooting and problem solving mindset
- Ability to automate processes and tooling.

What We Do
Vay's first commercial service is now live in Las Vegas, Nevada: By-minute rental cars. Delivered driverless. Vay is the first company to drive a car without a person inside on public streets in Europe and the US, enabled by teledriving (e.g. remote driving) technology. Vay aims to launch a sustainable, affordable, door-to-door mobility service with remotely driven ("teledriven") cars: Teledrivers bring an electric car to the customer and pick it up after the journey is completed, eliminating the time-consuming search for a parking spot for the customer. While in the car, the customers drive themselves. Vay sees teledriving as an alternative approach to autonomous driving and aims to gradually introduce autonomous functions in its system based on high-quality teledrive data.
