Stenn are looking for a Senior IT Administration Manager. Could this be you?
The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior IT Administration Manager to lead and manage our corporate IT department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in delivering IT services in a dynamic environment. They will oversee key IT operations, manage a team of IT professionals, and ensure that IT infrastructure aligns with the company's goals. This role involves setting a strategic IT vision, driving project execution, and enhancing operational efficiency, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an IT strategy and that aligns with the company's business goals
- Oversee the execution of IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Establish key performance metrics and continuously optimize workflows to meet them
- Manage a team of IT admins, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance management
- Identify key stakeholders and ensure proactive and transparent communication regarding project progress, challenges, and changes
- Ensure that the IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimise and improve the IT department's efficiency
- Stay up-to-date on emerging IT trends and technologies
Background/Experience:
- Proven track record as an IT Manager, with 3 to 5 years of managerial experience within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructures, leading IT projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Profound understanding and experience in establishing and managing large organisation's IT infrastructures.
- Strong expertise in hardware and software lifecycle management.
- Experience with IT infrastructure design and implementation
- Experience with team leadership, including coaching, goal setting, and performance management.
- Familiarity with optimising IT processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Experience in security best practices of corporate environments and workspaces
- ITIL 4 certified or experience with ITIL 4 best practices.
- Experience in Azure cloud, Google Workspace, FreshService, MDM, VPN, and anti-malware tools.
