As a Senior ISC Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead production operations, manage schedules, resources, and ensure quality and safety. You will collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.  You will report directly to our ISC Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our San Jose, CA, location on an On-site work schedule. 


As a Senior ISC Production Supervisor, you will supervise a team of Assemblers, Operators and/or RF Microwave Test Technicians and manage product output and quality. The work of this team includes tuning modules, CCAs and subsystems. You will conduct daily cell meetings to review output, goals, yield and production related issues. 


You will communicate results of daily cell meetings to management at daily Value Stream meetings. Help to set and communicate daily output goals for the team and remove roadblocks that are affecting output and/or quality. You will also create weekly reports that include output and yield for each product. You will use rework and yield data to analyze trends and report unfavorable trends to management.

  • Place an extreme importance on quality including leading your team in the areas of strictly following documented procedures, double-checking work and error-proofing processes.
  • Conducts process confirmations to ensure standard work processes are being followed. Identifies and addresses non-compliance, looking for continuous improvement opportunities. Ensure all operational processes are carried out in accordance with quality systems and procedures. 
  • Ensures 5S practices are adhered to and sustained within work area and ensures that Safety, Health and Environmental compliance is included as part of everyday activities. 
  • Participates in staff selection, performance management (including evaluation and discipline), coaching training and employee development, while ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. 
  • Interface with engineering, quality, planning and other support groups to get the support and assistance needed to resolve issues that are affecting quality and/or deliveries.

Qualifications

MUST HAVES

  • High school diploma or accredited GED.
  • Minimum of 2 experience in a lead, supervisor or management role with manufacturing or electronics.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

  • 8 years’ experience in a lead supervisor or management role with manufacturing or electronics (or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and technical/production issues to engineering and management.

  • Previous work in a technical environment.
  • Technical AS Degree.
  • Experience with RF Microwave manufacturing.
  • Project experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles and tools.


The annual base salary range for this position is $97,520 - $121,900.  Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
