About the job 

Great customer experiences start with Genesys. Genesys unifies customer and agent experiences across phone, email, chat, text and social channels.  

As we continue to expand our product portfolio, we are looking for a Staff iOS Software Engineer to help expand our mobile SDK’s capabilities.  

We will be seeking a software engineer with strong programming skills. Working in a highly collaborative and agile environment. Genesys Software Engineers think through implementation details of scalability, security and usability.  

 

What you'll do:  

  • Develop efficient, resilient & secured SDKs that will be deployed in millions of devices worldwide.  

  • Research mobile operating systems APIs and data points collection and keep up with the latest updates.  

  • Work symbiotically with the product team and other team members throughout the development process.  

  • Maintain, fix and release applications and SDKs.  

  • Work with CI\CD.  

 

Who you are: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile software engineering (iOS).  

  • Experience with Objective-C, Swift.  

  • Experienced with mobile SDK development.  

  • Profound understating of native applications development and lifecycle, application stores, and resource management.  

  • Independent, persistent, and a "getting things done" person.  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, history of helping and inspiring others.  

  • SwiftUI + swift combine experience.  

  • Experience writing Unit / UI Testing and testable code.  

  • Experience with network extension – an advantage.  

 

What Else 

  • Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.  

  • Experience with multithreaded programming.  

  • Knowledge of iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques.  

  • A passion for technology and the ability to learn new concepts quick.  

  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs  

  • Experience with Jenkins  

  • Mentor mobile developers and quality engineers to grow into their work.  

  • Experience with Jira, Git flow, Bitbucket – an advantage.
