We own our code and decide on the technical direction of our products. We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help us take our apps to the next level.
At idealo, you are part of a team of highly motivated iOS developers who strive for excellence in product and software development.
You work closely with product owners, user experience designers, data analysts, Android engineers and the engineering team responsible for our app-focused GraphQL backend.
We work as an agile team where you will be involved in product development from ideation to operating a product at scale.
You'll work with modern technologies and practices on a high-quality Swift codebase, allowing us to innovate quickly and efficiently.
A refined user interface is important to you, and you work closely with your UX colleagues to make features even better during implementation.
You apply pragmatic solutions, find the right trade-offs, and seek to reduce complexity to help your team deliver effectively and scale engineering impact across the organisation.
You have a deep understanding of native iOS development and extensive experience working with Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI.
Ideally, you have experience working with GraphQL APIs.
You are passionate about writing readable, reliable, maintainable, and testable code.
You are an open and communicative team player, curious about solving interesting and sometimes complex problems.
You are a self-sufficient and well-organized software engineer, and you can expect the same from the team around you.
