Team Mission
You will be joining the Checkout team, which is responsible for the Cart and Checkout pages. Our mission is to create the most seamless and convenient way for travelers to shortlist, book, and get the most value out of their activities. We focus on enhancing the customer experience for both new and returning travelers.
As an iOS engineer on the Checkout team, you will be part of the broader FinTech group, which consists of several mission-driven teams, including Checkout. The FinTech group is dedicated to providing a seamless checkout and post-purchase experience for our customers. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with the other app engineers in the group. Through this collaboration, you will also have opportunities to work on payments and post-booking experience as well.
You will
- Work in a cross-functional mission team with engineers, designers, product managers and analysts
- Help to enable your mission team to iterate fast and learn about our customers by designing, launching and iterating on A/B experiments
- Implement new features in the app and improve the user experience
- Continuously improve our codebase, systems and processes
- Contribute to the team's app roadmap
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in app development with profound experience in:
- Swift and the iOS Framework
- SwiftUI
- Swift structured concurrency
- Knowledge of writing automated tests (Unit/UI/Integration tests/screenshot tests)
- Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to turn ideas into solid, maintainable code
- Open to learning new technologies and methodologies
- Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft and cares about helping the team deliver
- Capable of working in a diverse team alongside designers, product managers and backend engineers
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to others in English

- Have one or more successful iOS apps published in the App Store
- Experience with the Swift Composable Architecture
- Experience with Android or Kotlin Multiplatform
- Experience with backend development in Java or PHP
