As we are growing, we are reinforcing our Funds team with a Senior Investment Funds Lawyers (M/F)
Job Description
- Structuring and documenting regulated funds from pre-launching to post closing
- Assisting service providers and developing relationship with them
- Advising on distribution channels
- Participating in corporate and transactional services
- Advising, guiding and following up with clients on their matters in collaboration with your local and international Clifford Chance colleagues
- Keeping regular information on client industry developments
- Develop deep knowledge of related practice areas’ law.
- Be proactive and willing to take initiatives and responsibilities (in line with your level of experience).
- Provide high service delivery for our clients and forge deep relationship with them to become a trusted advisor
- Present highly complex information in a simple and concise manner.
- Lead and supervise negotiations and exercise judgment in making complex decisions on behalf of the client.
- Seek new business opportunities to grow our business in your practice, in Luxembourg and beyond.
- Enthusiastically support and promote the firm’s strategy and contribute to the practice area business plan.
- Advising on distribution channels

- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers

Qualifications
Your experience
- From 5 years' experience in alternative funds and UCITS ideally gained within an international and large law firm.
- Experience in dealing with clients and providing advice with regards to depository and administration matters.
- You are ideally already qualified or admitted to the Luxembourg 'Liste II' or to the 'Liste IV'.
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg Investment Fund structures (UCITS, SIFs, RAIFs, SICARs, unregulated funds).
- You are fluent in English and French - German would be considered as an asset
- Willingness to provide high service delivery for our clients
