Job Description
The Senior Investment Counsellor provide advisory services according to the regional service model to private banking CROs and clients in line with the client's objectives, Investment profiles, Investment universe, regulations and procedures. He/She supports the Head of Investment Solutions in day-to-day business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investment Advisory
- Follow developments in the financial markets to maintain an understanding of both present and future trends and how they might affect investment strategies
- Provide comprehensive investment advice and solutions to top-tier private bankers and their clients on global products including fixed income instruments, equities, funds, hedge funds, derivatives and structured products
- Respond to all private bankers requests on trades, investment strategies, and supply them with the relevant supporting documents
- Act efficiently in operational processing of investment actions and client instructions
- Conduct and communicate detailed market research and investment solutions
- Ensure proactive, individualized, and professional delivery of advisory services by working collaboratively with various internal teams and entities within the group
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop the local Advisory services in line with clients needs
- Act as the liaison for Advisory services in local committees and delivers related presentations
- Continuously enhance the efficiency and quality of Advisory services through appropriate measures
2. Business Development
- Anticipate clients' needs and uncover related opportunities to maximize business potential
- Assist Private Bankers in acquiring new business and identifying investment solutions that match prospect/client’s needs
- Advocate the Promotion of the Investment Solutions (presentation, Investment proposal, book review…)
- Support the growth in Advisory and Discretionary mandates by implementing suitable sales strategies
3. Risk and control
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and banks policies and procedures
- Daily controls of portfolios
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics and/or Finance. CFA level would be a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar function within a Wealth Management or Asset management Environment.
- High level of technicity and ability to communicate ideas and recommendations
- Very good commercial and communication skills
- Fluent in Greek and English, French would be a plus

Skills Required
