As a member of Covista's Talent Acquisition team, you will play a key role in identifying top talent and helping candidates envision a rewarding career and life with our organization in the Caribbean. This includes building and executing targeted sourcing plans and recruiting key talent for critical openings within the veterinary space as well as highly niche roles across a global footprint.
You will be responsible for creating an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout every stage of the interview process. You'll work closely with hiring managers and interview teams to make sure the selection process is executed flawlessly. This includes creating a position profile and summary, having robust intake conversations, scheduling interviews to debrief conversations.

Responsibilities
- Partners with key stakeholders to define hiring priorities and develop effective sourcing strategies across multiple business units.
- Collaborates with HR and business leaders to establish workflows for international hiring and expatriation processes.
- Leads recruitment for senior-level and highly specialized academic, faculty, and administrative roles across international markets.
- Leverages advanced sourcing tools and techniques to identify, engage, and attract specialized talent globally.
- Builds and maintains external networks with recruiters, agencies, and professional organizations to identify and engage qualified passive candidates.
- Facilitates and leads the hiring process through comprehensive intake discussions and post-interview debrief meetings.
- Manages candidate applications and resume activity to ensure timely communication and accurate maintenance of applicant tracking records.
- Evaluates candidates’ experience, skills, knowledge, and capabilities to assess alignment with role requirements and potential for success.
- Provides guidance to candidates on immigration processes and required documentation.
- Ensures employment references are completed and verified for each finalist, in accordance with hiring requirements.
- Negotiates offers, clearly explains relocation support, and coordinates international background screening as needed.
- Provides timely follow-up to interviewed and non-selected candidates to support a professional and positive candidate experience.
- Aligns compensation expectations early in the process, communicates the total rewards package clearly, and negotiates and extends employment offers to selected candidates.
- Participates in meetings, committees, and other collaborative forums as assigned, providing insights and expertise surrounding recruitment practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources required or other related discipline required
- 8+ years of consultative recruiting experience across various levels, including international recruitment and
- Experience working with and influencing senior level leaders Required and
- Experience hiring in global markets Required and
- Experience working with a candidate database or ATS required (i.e. iCIMS, Taleo, etc.) Required
- Can effectively lead and drive the hiring process in a fast paced, matrix environment
- Excellent communication, influence, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent sourcing capabilities; has a wide network and is comfortable reaching into other organizations to acquire the best talent
- Must have a working knowledge of recruiting policies and practices
- Strong negotiation skills required
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80,336.75 and $140,851.54. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
