Key Responsibilities:
Leading and executing audits of IT programs, such as:
- Vulnerability Management Program
- Cybersecurity Risk Management Program
- Cybersecurity Incident Response & Recovery Program
- Identity and Access Management Program
- Third Party Vendor Risk Management Program
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of internal audit or equivalent related experience for Senior
- Proficient understanding of internal controls, internal auditing and the IPPF
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous public accounting firm audit experience
- Healthcare and information technology and information security internal audit experience
- Knowledge of information technology and security infrastructure, frameworks and governance
Remote Nature:
- This position will work remotely, but preference may be given to candidates residing within 50 miles of Essentia Health’s service area who have the ability to come onsite as needed for audits

- Candidates with all levels of audit experience are encouraged to apply. While preference will be given to candidates with experience aligning with the Senior Internal Audit level, the hiring team is open varying experience levels
Certificate / Licensure:
