- Independent planning, preparation, and execution of audits across all business areas in compliance with international audit standards (Global Internal Audit Standards) and internal process guidelines.
- Identification and assessment of risks, along with the derivation of practical recommendations to ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and to optimize the internal control system.
- Ensuring comprehensive and traceable documentation of all audit processes, relevant findings, and developed recommendations.
- Preparation of meaningful audit reports and independent discussion/coordination of results with the responsible departments and, if applicable, senior management.
- Monitoring and management of the follow-up process.
- Active participation in the continuous development and optimization of audit processes, as well as in the implementation of best-practice solutions.
- Establishment, maintenance, and targeted development of trustworthy and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Completed studies in economics, law, or a comparable qualification; professional certification is an advantage
- Several years (at least 7) of professional experience in the banking sector (internal audit), preferably with experience in private banking
- Excellent knowledge of Austrian and international banking regulations; solid expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) prevention
- Strong analytical thinking and high problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with audit software Audimex is a plus
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Communicative personality with strong social skills
- Independent, structured, and responsible working style
In return, you can expect an interesting role, attractive social benefits, and – based on the minimum requirements mentioned above – a gross annual salary starting at EUR 66,000.00, with the possibility of overpayment depending on qualifications.
