General Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Intercompany Accountant (English-speaking) to join our newly established Accounting Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, Poland. We are looking for an ambitious finance professional motivated to help build and shape our regional finance function as BeOne Medicines expands globally.
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in Intercompany Accounting or Record-to-Report (R2R), combined with hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA. A proven track record with ERP and reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine, ICMR) is a strong advantage.
Strong communication skills and cultural awareness are essential, as the role coordinates activities across multiple regions and collaborates with teams in the US, Europe, and Asia. Experience in implementing new systems and processes is highly valued.
The position requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, unstructured environment. Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities are critical for meeting close deadlines and balancing competing priorities.
This role will be hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week in our Warsaw office with 2 days remote.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Process intercompany invoices for all BeOne Medicines entities in full compliance with company policies
- Manage timely and accurate settlements according to the established payment schedule
- Reconcile Intercompany balances in alignment with global accounting policies and standards
- Execute month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Investigate and resolve intercompany disputes and discrepancies
- Calculate and post transfer pricing recharges in line with group methodology and requirements
- Support the setup of new legal entities and related intercompany accounting activities
- Prepare financial analyses and reports for local management and international headquarters; reconcile payments and account balances as required
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement, enhancing system efficiencies and optimizing business processes.

Computer Skills: SAP, (S/4 Hana is a plus), Excel, Power BI, ICMR, Blackline
Other Qualifications:
Accounting/Business/Finance Bachelor degree with 5 years of Intercompany/RTR experience in a multinational finance environment; SAP experience is required, SAP S4 Hana experience will be an additional asset; Good understanding of USGAAP, European accounting standards, healthcare experience a plus; desire to work in a fast paced, changing (currently unstructured) environment; ability to work effectively in a remote work environment is required; excellent communication skills combined with cultural sensitivity, excellent spoken/written English – any other languages is a plus.
