About The Role: 
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Interchange & Pricing Analyst to join our team and support data-driven decision-making across our pricing strategies in the acquiring payment domain. This role is critical to optimizing revenue performance and enhancing profitability through rigorous analysis of merchant portfolios, transaction data, and pricing models. The job main purposes are:

  • Managing and optimizing pricing strategies for the company
  • Key responsibilities include monitoring fee adjustments, analyzing market trends, and supporting system changes to ensure accurate revenue calculations.
  • The role also requires strong financial and analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor fee adjustments both internally and from third parties
  • Communicate and monitor the technical implications and Revenue impact of these changes.
  • Support system change requests and testing systems for cost and revenue assurance.
  • Help create and manage Net Revenue calculation models and dashboards.
  • Develop market insights through existing data and Competitor analysis.
  • Large data extraction, synthesis from various sources and analysis to support Pricing activities.
  • Contact point for all technical and non-technical pricing queries.
  • Support the Team in month-end activities.
  • Support Pricing Governance with a Fair Value, customer centric approach to Pricing.
  • Commercial lead for tender documentation and negotiations, supporting new tenders, renewals of contracts and new income generating opportunities
  • Deliver Pricing training and maintain a Pricing resource center.
Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong communicator with experience in writing for a range of audiences, including senior leaders and non-specialists.
  • Adept at problem solving, using excellent analytical skills and systems to make sense of issues.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within tight timescales.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • 2+ years Card Payment Industry knowledge, such as Scheme Fees & Interchange
  • Proficiency in data analysis with tools such as Microsoft Excel / SQL / Python.
  • Degree Qualified or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial or fintech segment. 

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making and market analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data visualization, macros, and complex formulas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial or fintech segment
