Description

Functions as a Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) and assists the customer with research and analysis related to stated standing or emerging threats. Conducts research, analysis, develops, responds to, and satisfies requests for information. Maintains awareness on current threat streams and assists with the research, analysis, and production of products and assessments, to include preparing any special products or projects as deemed necessary by the customer. Participates in on-call duty officer program and communicates and shares information, as requested by the customer, with partner agencies in support of liaison efforts.  Additional critical roles for the SIA will include performing analysis and integration of intelligence products, using Intelligence Community products to generate agency-specific assessments. Works directly with the customer to provide threat briefings for senior leadership during meetings and weekly briefings. Assists the customer in specifying intelligence requirements. 

Travel Required: Yes, 15%

Primary Responsibilities:

- Coordinates and manages customer processes and products, including Suspicious Activity

Reporting (SAR) and Request For Information (RFI) processes, and customer internal

information sharing systems

- Portfolio management of domestic terror, international terror, and criminal threats to the

customer’s operations.

- Participation in customer’s on-call duty officer program

- Provides detailed briefings to customer leadership and staff

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field

- 10 years of relevant work and a minimum of 10 years of systems experience (JWICS, SIPR,

Intelligence and Law Enforcement databases)

- Must be able to obtain an “Active” Q/TS clearance. Must be able to obtain a SCI clearance

within a reasonable timeframe

- Work independently and in small groups while maintaining relationships and credibility with

the customer locally and at the geographically separated locations

- Exceptional written and spoken communications skills in providing analytic products and

briefings to all levels of an organization, including senior agency officials.

- Ability to conduct in-depth and detailed analysis utilizing industry standard tools, techniques

and procedures

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to plan and interact with people from diverse

backgrounds/cultures

Desired Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in a related field

- Current active DOE Q or TS/SCI clearance
